Our client is a well-known and highly respected Food Manufacturer based in Victoria. They are part of a global, diversified international group employing over 100,000 employees worldwide. With clarity on future direction and clearly defined values, our client is one of Australia’s and New Zealand’s largest food manufacturers.



Two exciting positions based in Regional Victoria, less than 100 kms from Metropolitan Melbourne have become available due to growth.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this role aims to:

  • Identify, develop and deliver successful productivity, cost reduction, revenue, and quality improvement  projects
  • Reduce capacity constraints in a structured and sustainable manner
  • Implement common tools and methods to ensure efficient, transparent and data-driven decision making
  • Ensure that CI lessons are captured and shared
  • Preserve and improve the safety of people and quality of products manufactured on site
  • The building of strong and positive company culture

This is a very large, complex and fast-paced operation and requires someone who is passionate about Continuous Improvement. You must be confident, a good communicator and fully able to work cross-functionally to ensure the CI program and related activities are successful.

You will have strong interpersonal skills and will take ownership of the task at hand whilst demonstrating energy and passion for the overall vision and direction of the company.



To be successful in your application you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications, in Engineering,  Science or related field
  • Educated in Lean or Six Sigma principles
  • Five years of experience in leading CI activities in a high volume manufacturing environment
  • Proven results from this experience with demonstrable results
  • The ability to work professionally and build relationships at all levels internally and externally
  • Well established analytical and problem-solving skills ensuring appropriate actions are taken in a timely manner. You will be able to drive change with a sense of urgency whilst ensuring it is sustainable
  • Ability to positively support and encourage others through change. Take a leading role in change management
  • Good work ethic, strong influencing skills, and credible presentation style
