Our client is a well-known and highly respected Food Manufacturer. They are part of a global, diversified international group employing over 100,000 employees worldwide. With clarity on future direction and clearly defined values, our client is one of Australia’s and New Zealand’s largest food manufacturers.



This exciting maternity leave contract position is based in Castlemaine, Regional Victoria, less than 100kms from Metropolitan Melbourne.  Reporting to the Distribution Co-ordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for the total management and reconciliation of all pooled equipment used within the business. This will be achieved by maximizing the use of all equipment and minimizing the running costs thereof. This is a maternity leave contract role.

This is a very large, complex and fast-paced operation and requires someone with strong Pallet Controlling and Administration experience. Some responsibilities include:

  • Accurate reconciliation and validation of all pooled equipment related invoices
  • Maintenance of accurate hire and replacement rates
  • Timely preparation of periodic Financial Reports including End of Month accruals
  • On time provision of suitable equipment to Operations to ensure the efficient running of Production
  • Ensure export documentation is filled correctly and any discrepancies resolved
  • Ensure all pallet movements have correct documentation, are accounted for and inputted into systems (Chepmate)
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and creating of trade relationships to ensure all equipment can be tracked



To be successful in your application you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Chepmate experience or with similar systems
  • Proven skills in MS Office suite
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving ability that incorporates business acumen
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet urgent priorities at short notice
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to champion change
