Our client is a well-known and highly respected Food Manufacturer. They are part of a global, diversified international group employing over 100,000 employees worldwide. This exciting permanent part-time position is based in Castlemaine, Regional Victoria, less than 100kms from Metropolitan Melbourne.  The role is for 19 hours per week with the option to work across 4-5 days. A degree of flexibility will be offered to the right candidate. Reporting to the Capital Manager, the successful candidate will provide support to the Capital Department in delivering capital projects.

This is a very large, complex and fast-paced operation and requires someone with a financial background and an understanding of project management with the capability to take ownership of the project database.  Some responsibilities include:

  • Maintain capital group forecasting and tracking systems
  • Accurate management of the project database
  • Provide support around project procurement and SAP orders
  • Timely updating, consolidation and collation of multiple project reports
  • Preparation of information packs for various stakeholder groups
  • Provide support to monthly capital meetings, such as organising and compiling the presentation deck, minute taking, follow up actions
  • Creation of monthly capital finance reports
  • Maintain meeting schedules and diary management for the Capital Manager



To be successful in your application you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Degree in finance or relevant higher qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance
  • Exposure to FMCG Manufacturing will be an advantage
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Relevant experience in project management is desirable
  • Proven skills in MS Office suite, SAP, SharePoint, databases, spreadsheet software
  • Ability to multi-task and meet urgent priorities at short notice
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build effective business relationships
