The role presents an exciting challenge for a Determined, Technically and Commercially astute Business Development and Marketing professional with ownership of your performance at managing a diverse industry portfolio and customer base.

 

The Role

Key duties of the role include:

  • Increase customer base and volumes across STEM markets through targeted sales and marketing activities.
  • Marketing the business, especially on Social Media platforms, website and improving SEO rating.
  • Attend appropriate trade and networking events to help promote CS Executive.
  • Maintain current knowledge of market developments and accurately assess the opportunities including maintaining a project pipeline.
  • Monitor, review, report and act on customer feedback, activities and performance.
  • Provide regular relevant management updates through various methods including reports, customer updates and meetings.
  • In conjunction with the Recruitment and Client Service Team, provide solution based support and advice to customers
  • Work with other members of the company to facilitate all aspects of customer service.
  • Support and be actively engaged in the implementation and continuous improvement of company programs as outlined by management.
  • Comply with all safe working practices and company values and policies.

 

Selection Criteria

Accordingly, to be considered for this role, applicants will need to substantiate how they meet the following criteria:

  • Tertiary education in Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing (or similar) is required
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a suitable sales or marketing role
  • Demonstrated success in sales and exposure to corporate clients in the industry
  • Strong social media experience with LinkedIn, Facebook or equivalent
  • A proven capability to project manage
  • Commercially and customer driven problem solving
  • In addition to taking ownership of your own day-to-day workload and responsibilities for project management, you must be willing to work collaboratively and share your knowledge within a supportive team environment
  • A very high level of technical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with excellent written, oral skills and computer literacy
  • Ability to undertake occasional travel and availability to attend industry trade and networking events after hours and/or weekends
  • You must hold a full driving license
