Our client is a progressive and expanding company specialising in the field of precious metals refining. Their operations cover all three facets of this industry and as such their technical facilities include a laboratory, a refinery and a smelting section. Our Client is Australia’s leading independent precious metals refiner and it services the jewellery, dental and mining industries. The premises have recently been renovated and boast the latest technology in refining.
We are looking for a mature, self motivated person with an interest in Chemistry. Reporting to the Head Chemist, you will use a range of laboratory instrumentation including; ICP-OES, MP-AES, AAS, RF, and an Automatic titrator. Full training will be provided on in-house specific procedures. This position will provide you with the opportunity to work with an experienced team of staff and excellent management all of whom are committed to a high standard of technical work and client service. The position provides excellent prospects for the right person.
The successful applicant will be a chemist, with a few years of experience. You will be looking for a long term career and must meet the following criteria:
