COMPANY

Our client is a leading and well known Australian company that has been involved in cutting edge research, development, manufacturing and distribution of high quality skin care, sun care and cosmetic products for decades.  With state of the art facilities and a dedicated senior team, the Company supplies products to all major retailers across Australia.

 

ROLE

Due to an ever increasing demand for their products, our client is seeking to employ a technically qualified individual with some experience in account management in a position that will be based at the Company’s Head Office in Melbourne.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a technical background in Personal Care, have good interpersonal skills to quickly build trust and earn respect, and possess the desire and determination to grow themselves and the business.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the person in this role will also ensure existing accounts are retained, whilst maximising sales and profitability as well as actively prospecting and winning new business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate accurate and timely communication with all key accounts
  • Provide technical support and assistance to key accounts on regular basis
  • Work alongside other Account Managers and internal customers
  • Receive and process all customer orders
  • Review customer contracts and provide product information to customers
  • Inform all customers on order specific lead times and delivery times
  • Coordinate freight requirements
  • Maintain purchase orders and forecasts
  • Coordinate deletion of finished goods, packaging and exclusive raw materials to minimise redundant stock

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

To be successful in your application, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • A degree in Pharmacy, Formulation Science or similar
  • Ideally few years’ experience in a similar role in Personal Care industry
  • Ability to maintain and develop strong working relationships with existing accounts
  • Experience in coordination of product orders and deliveries making sure everything runs according to contract
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with a proven ability to meet goals, targets and deadlines
  • A good work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills and a good team player is a must!
