Our client is one of New Zealand and Australia’s largest FMCG / Manufacturing / Distribution companies. Part of a global Organisation, their product range is diverse and services the Food and Beverage, Hospitality and Institutional Healthcare Industries. Their vision is to grow this business further by introducing innovative products and solutions and the building of a specialised market leading account management teams.



This role will provide key account management services for numerous markets encompassing new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate innovation, have experience in market focused technology development and leveraging supply chain capabilities.

This role encompasses ensuring existing accounts are retained, maximising sales and profitability as well as actively prospecting and winning new business. You will ensure service levels are being met and exceeded via reports and discussions with clients and take remedial actions as required. You will also be required to liaise with the Sales Director, as well as managing time and budgets.



To be successful in your application, you will have experience in a similar account management role in the food and beverage, chemicals or other relevant industry sectors.

Please note: This role requires traveling to visit clients so a current drivers licence is a must.

To be short-listed for this rare opportunity you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelors Degree in Business or a MBA would be highly regarded however tertiary qualifications are not essential
  • Experience in account management in Food & Beverage and/or Chemicals is essential
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • Good sales and presentation skills
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Goal driven and solutions focused in a team environment
  • Experience in the creation of plans and strategies to win new clients
  • A can do attitude with a passion for excellent customer service
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to achieve results
  • A current Australian Drivers Licence
