DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION STATEMENT

At CS Executive Group, we stand committed to fostering a workplace that embraces diversity and inclusion in every aspect of our operations. Established in 1988 by a female founder with a strong belief in these principles, our organisation has been dedicated to creating an environment where everyone, regardless of background or ability, can thrive and contribute their unique talents.

Our inclusive recruitment processes extend beyond conventional hiring practices to ensure the attraction, hiring, and retention of a diverse workforce. We consistently apply similar inclusive recruitment practices for both our company and our clients, fostering an environment that welcomes, values, and supports individuals from various backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

OUR COMMITMENT

Inclusive Workforce: At CS Executive Group we proudly employ individuals of diverse genders, backgrounds, abilities, and nationalities. From single parents to those with physical disabilities and from various nationalities, and those who identify as neurodivergent, our workforce is a testament to the richness that diversity brings to our team.

Collaborative Culture: Our inclusive workplace is built on a foundation of collaboration, mutual support, and respect. At CS Executive Group, every team member is valued for their individual strengths, and we actively encourage an environment where everyone works together to achieve common goals.

Flexibility and Support: Recognising the importance of meeting our staff’s various personal needs and obligations, we offer flexible working arrangements, including work-from-home options and accommodate leave requirements. We understand that each employee has unique needs, and we strive to provide the support necessary for their success.

Accessible Workspaces: Our premises and workspaces are thoughtfully designed to cater to a variety of disabilities, ensuring that everyone, including staff, candidates, clients and suppliers can access and navigate our facilities comfortably.

INCLUSIVE RECRUITMENT PRACTICES

Our recruitment processes are inclusive, welcoming applications from individuals of all backgrounds and abilities. We are committed to creating diverse talent pools and encourage everyone to apply, knowing that their unique contributions are valued. We encourage and target applications from people of different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, including persons with disability, neurodiverse persons, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, neurodiverse persons and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

We strongly believe it is our obligation as recruiters to support people in obtaining meaningful employment and reduce as many barriers as possible.

Diverse Sourcing Strategies: When sourcing candidates, our Head Hunting/Search activities actively target candidates from a variety of sources, including underrepresented groups. Where applicable, we utilise diverse job boards, community programs and partnerships with organisations that promote diversity.

Inclusive Job Descriptions & Candidate Information Packs: The job descriptions and Candidate Information Packs we utilise in our search endeavours have inclusive language and focus on the skills and qualifications necessary.

Unbiased Recruitment Processes & Financial Assistance: Our selection criteria, customised interview questions and evaluation processes minimise unconscious biases. Additionally, we allocate a portion of our recruitment fees to provide financial assistance for candidates facing relocation challenges (in cases where client funding is unavailable). By removing barriers related to personal circumstances, we ensure that all candidates have equal access to opportunities nationwide in Australia.

Consultations and Interview Preparation: We offer a variety of free services to all candidates, irrespective of whether they are successful in their application or not. They include written, verbal, video and in-person consultations, as well as resume writing, job search skills and interview preparation sessions. These initiatives are designed to assist candidates who may lack confidence, certain skills, or have a disability, or are neurodivergent, helping them to present their best selves confidently.

Training in Diversity and Inclusion: All our staff undergo training in diversity and inclusion, reflecting our dedication to accommodating and showcasing these principles firsthand within our own business. This training ensures that every team member understands the importance of fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace

“We’re in it to change people’s lives”: The mantra “We’re in it to change people’s lives” reflects our deep commitment at CS Executive Group to make a positive impact on individuals and communities. This guiding principle extends to all our customers, encompassing both our valued clients and the talented candidates we work with, as well as reaching out to the broader community.

At the heart of our mission is the belief that our actions can bring about meaningful change and contribute to the betterment of lives. Whether it’s supporting clients in finding the right talent for their organisations or assisting candidates in realising their career aspirations, we are driven by the desire to create transformative opportunities.

“We’re in it to change people’s lives” encapsulates the ethos of CS Executive Group — a dedication to fostering positive change and making a lasting impact.
